The art of Alexey Klokov touches historical heights of artistic practice and through them collects modern visuality. It is a place of collision of different ways of seeing and searching for a new base for the interaction of fine art and real life. Klokov’s pictorial art is called dialectics in colour. Colour, its metaphysics and expressiveness are the basis of artist’s manner by which he reveals the roots of collisions and resolves them in plastic metamorphosis.
