A personal exhibition of Alexey Klokov’s paintings took place at the Russian Embassy in Ottawa

on Russian Independence Day. The opening ceremony was hosted by the Ambassador of Russia to Canada, His Excellency Alexander Darchiev.

Included among the invited two hundred guests were representatives of foreign countries, politicians, business people and media.

The event also celebrated the beginning of Alexey Klokov’s collaboration with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. In attendance was Jim Orban, President of the Foundation, who expressed his personal gratitude to the artist and the organizers of the exhibition for the support of the foundation.

Of the 20 works of the “Suggestive Abstract” collection presented, three were successfully purchased by American diplomats.
